A Pennsylvania, USA , man was
sentenced to pay nearly $6,000 in fines and
replacement costs for killing a bear he claimed was
threatening him, even though the bear was just snacking on
various seeds and raw meat in the man's bird feeders.
He was ordered to pay $5,000 replacement costs after
Pennsylvania Game Commission
officers and a biologist proved he
did not kill the bear in self-defense.Bob was heard to
comment later that, "I always wanted to shoot a big bear
but could not afford a hunting trip to Russia. This was
much cheaper." |

Big Bob's Bear Hunting, why go to a foreign
country to bag a bear. Bag 'em here, cheaper, and don't
have to deal with the Russkies. It costs over $10,000 to
bag a bear there" |

MT Rock Star Delays Russia's Space
Program U. S. pop star Lance Bass's failure to
come up with cash for an October flight to the
international space station will probably delay production
of the Soyuz-TMA module, a senior Energia official said.
"There will probably be ... a disruption of the schedule"
of production for the Soyuz module, which costs $10
million to build and another $55 million to launch, the
official said on condition of anonymity. Bass of boy band
'N Sync would have paid about $20 million for the space
trip. |

Mr. Putin commented that he would buy an 'N Sync album
today to help Mr. Bass reach his goal and save the Space
Program. |
