Moscow-UES to buy Enron
In a surprise development Unified Electrical Systems(UES)
CEO Anatoly Chubais announced today that UES would buy
USA Company Enron that is Bankrupt. In a prepared
statement he said, "Our restructuring plan will require
us to be creative. We looked around for the best source
of creative financial management expertise. Enron has
exhibited the kind of management we require to make our
plan work."The Bush Administration has offered all
former Enron Management the option of community service
in Russia instead of Prison. |
The Vice President Mr. Cheney said, "This is a good
thing for Russia and America. Why waste all this
management talent in Prison? This is an opportunity for
both companies. The Presidents, Bush and Putin, back the
deal 100%" Reaction of the investment community was
mixed. Analysis, Sergei Boughtchef said, "We are neutral
on this move. The way UES is run now; well nothing and
hurt or help it."
Merrill Lynch Analysis, Bob Bribeden, said, "This
move shows that UES is ready to change the way they do
business. They are ready to follow the aggressive
business practices necessary to pump up their stock
price in the near term. We rate UES a strong buy."

Moscow AutoVAZ New Model With sales sinking
AutoVAZ has changed its
strategy.
It will move forward quickly to produce new models. In a
deal with Daimler Chrysler it will purchase tool and
manufacturing plant for a new model. The company expects
the new model to be out within 6 months. The new model
will be called the Daimler Chrysler Pacer. |
The new GM Niva has good sales. So the company
thinks the Daimler Chrysler Pacer will be a hot selling
model also. Discussions are also going on with GM to
produce a AutoVAZ Corvair.
Rumors are flying that AutoVAZ will also move in to
the luxury car market with a AutoVAZ Edsel.

Anchorage, Alaska In exchange for support on Iraq;
Russian Oil majors get access to ANWR.
Russian major oil companies have been pushing hard for
the Russian government to guarantee their contracts with
Iraq. The companies have contracts that total 5 billion
dollars. In turn Mr. Putin, has been putting
pressure on Washington, President Bush, to give
something in return for Russia's support on the UN
resolution. |
In
a compromised announced by the Vice President Dick
Cheney, Russian Oil Majors will be given the opportunity
to start exploration in the American National Wildlife
Refuge. Mr. Cheney said; "The Russian oil companies have
years of experience in Siberia, drilling in
environmental sensitive areas. They know how to protect
the environment and find oil. I personally have seen
their work in Siberia." |

York City, New York; No need for UN Resolution; Saddam
Hussein agrees to sells Iraq to consortium of Oil
Companies.
Today
it was announced today that Aramco, TotalElfFina and
others are negotiating to buy Iraq. They said they
had agreed with Saddam Hussein to pay him 10 billion
dollars for Iraq.
The President Bush has announced that the United
States Government supports the deal. Mr. Putin also
expressed his support. |
All citizens will be employed by the consortium. However
the number of employees will decrease over time as they
die. The consortium offers no guarantee of employment to
future offspring. As part of the deal Russian Oil
Companies still will get access to ANWR and will be able
to participate in Iraq.
Switzerland has offered Saddam Hussein political
asylum if he deposits at least 5 billion dollars in a
Swiss Bank. |
